URA’s current GLS list, last updated 13 August 2026, shows the Town Hall Link White site as open for tender. The parcel is listed at 3.72 hectares with a gross plot ratio of 5.0.
This confirms the July 2026 launch is still the live JLD land sale, with a tender close of 12 noon on 17 November 2026.
URA launched the Town Hall Link White Site on 3 July 2026 under the Confirmed List of the second-half 2026 Government Land Sales programme. The tender closes at 12 noon on 17 November 2026.
URA describes a mixed-use White site connected to Jurong East MRT and the upcoming CR19 Jurong Lake District station, with up to 1,200 private homes and a minimum of 40,000 sqm of office space.
LTA’s 4 March 2026 factsheet says Jurong Region Line Stage 1 will open around mid-2028. It also says Cross Island Line Phase 2 to Jurong Lake District is slated for completion in 2032, while Phase 3 construction is planned to commence in 2027.
These are the latest official rail targets for JLD. LTA’s CRL overview separately states that Phase 3 extends west from CR19 in Jurong Lake District to Gul Circle, with stations targeted for the late 2030s.
